The Power of Praise and Glory
📖 “I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praises to Your name, O Most High.” (Psalm 9:1–2, NKJV)
This scripture reveals that true praise flows from a heart completely surrendered to God. David declares that he will praise the Lord with his whole heart, testify of God’s marvelous works, rejoice in His goodness, and sing praises to His holy name. Gratitude is not just expressed with our lips but with a heart that remembers God’s faithfulness and joyfully gives Him all the glory He deserves. When we intentionally praise God, our faith is strengthened, our perspective is renewed, and His greatness and glory is magnified above every circumstance.
Beloved, no matter what this week has held, choose to lift your voice in thanksgiving today. Remember His marvelous works in your life, celebrate His faithfulness, and let your heart rejoice in His unfailing love. As you make praise your lifestyle, you will find renewed strength, fresh joy, and deeper confidence in the God who never fails. There is always a reason to glorify the Lord, for His goodness endures forever.

As David prepares for the end of his reign, he commissions Solomon to build the Temple and charges him to seek the Lord with a loyal heart and willing mind. Although David would not build the Temple himself, he joyfully prepares everything needed for its construction and gives generously from his own resources. Inspired by his example, the leaders and people also give willingly and rejoice together. Paul contrasts Adam’s disobedience, which brought sin and death into the world, with Christ’s perfect obedience, which brings righteousness, abundant grace, and eternal life to all who believe. No matter how great sin may be, God’s grace is always greater.

📖 Psalm 15:1–5 — Living a Life That Pleases God
David asks who is worthy to dwell in God’s holy presence and answers by describing the character of a person who walks uprightly. Those who live with integrity, speak truth, keep their promises, reject corruption, honor those who fear the Lord, and deal honestly with others demonstrate hearts that honor God. This psalm teaches that God desires inward righteousness that is reflected through godly character and daily conduct.

📖 Proverbs 19:18–19 — Loving Discipline Produces Wisdom and Self-Control
Solomon encourages parents to lovingly discipline their children while there is still opportunity to shape their character. He also warns that uncontrolled anger leads to repeated trouble and unnecessary consequences. Godly correction and self-control are essential for developing wisdom, maturity, and a peaceful life.
