APRIL 25 – DEVOTIONAL

And I will put my Spirit within you… and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God

Ezekiel 36:27–28

This scripture reveals God’s heart—to dwell within His people and empower them to live according to His will. It shows that transformation and obedience are not by human strength, but by His Spirit within us, leading, guiding, and causing us to walk in His ways. It is a promise of relationship, identity, and divine enablement.

Beloved, you are not without help or direction. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives within you—empowering you to rise above limitations and walk boldly in your God-given purpose.

That same power brings life to what feels dead, clarity to confusion, and strength to walk in obedience. It doesn’t just help us live—it empowers us to rise into our God-given purpose and destiny.

Have a Spirit-filled day, and may you and your family be encouraged to walk in His power, trust His leading, and rise fully into His divine purpose and destiny. Shalom!

Bibles Readings

Judges 4:1–5:31Theme: God Uses the Willing for Victory
God raises Deborah, a prophetess and judge, alongside Barak to deliver Israel. Through obedience and courage—even from unexpected vessels like Jael—God brings victory over oppression. This reminds us that God can use anyone who is willing to step forward in faith.

Luke 22:35–53 Theme: Surrender in the Face of Betrayal
Jesus prepares His disciples for what’s ahead and models complete surrender as He is betrayed and arrested. Even in the moment of suffering, He chooses God’s will over His own, showing us the power of yieldedness and trust in difficult seasons.

Psalm 94:1–23 – Theme: God is Our Defender and Refuge
The psalmist cries out for justice, yet finds comfort in knowing that God sees, corrects, and sustains His people. Even when evil seems to prevail, God remains a righteous judge and a safe refuge for those who trust Him.

Proverbs 14:3–4 – Theme: Wisdom in Words and Work
These verses contrast foolish and wise speech, while also showing that increase often comes with effort. Growth may require work and messiness, but it produces fruitful outcomes when guided by wisdom.

Final Reflection:
Across today’s readings, we see a powerful thread—God calls, sustains, defends, and fulfills His purposes through those who trust Him. Whether in leadership, surrender, endurance, or daily choices, His hand is at work, guiding us into victory and purpose.
