Empowered By Resurrection: Rising to Fulfill Purpose & Destiny

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

Beloved, resurrection power is not only seen in miracles—it is revealed in transformation. Through our relationship with the Lord, we are changed by grace from fear, hate, and confusion into faith, love, and a sound mind.

The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us, empowering us to reflect Him with evidence—the fruit of His Spirit, beginning with love. This is how we represent Christ: not by our old nature, but by a renewed life marked by faith, boldness, and clarity.

For all creation eagerly awaits the manifestation of the sons of God, and we can only manifest Him through the Spirit—walking in love, standing in truth, and living with a sound mind.
On this is Relationship Friday—may our connection with the Lord be marked with our willingness to allow Him shape g how we love, live, and lead.

Have a spirit-filled Relationship Friday, and may you and your family be encouraged to walk in love, grow in faith, and boldly reflect Christ in all you do. Shalom!!

Bible Readings

JUDGES 2:10–3:31 — The Cycle of Forgetting & Deliverance
Key Theme: Spiritual Drift & God’s Mercy
A new generation arises that does not know the Lord, and Israel falls into a cycle of sin, oppression, and crying out for help. Yet in His mercy, God raises judges to deliver them. This reminds us that when we drift from God, restoration is still available when we turn back to Him.

LUKE 22:14–34 — Covenant, Humility & Testing
Key Theme: Faithfulness in the Face of Weakness
Jesus institutes the Lord’s Supper, reveals the heart posture of true greatness as servanthood, and warns Peter of his coming denial. Even in our weakness, Jesus intercedes for us and calls us to return stronger in faith.

PSALM 92:1–93:5 — God’s Faithfulness & Sovereign Reign
Key Theme: Steadfast Praise & God’s Authority
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, for He is faithful and just. The Lord reigns in majesty and power—unshaken and eternal. The righteous flourish because they are rooted in Him.

PROVERBS 14:1–2 — Wisdom Builds, Folly Destroys
Key Theme: Walking Uprightly in Reverence
A wise woman builds her house, but foolishness tears it down. Living in reverence for God leads to stability, while careless living leads to destruction.

Final Reflection:
When we forget God, we drift—but when we return, He restores. Though we may face moments of weakness, His grace calls us back to faithfulness. As we remain rooted in Him, walking in wisdom and reverence, our lives become steady, fruitful, and aligned with His purpose.
