MAY 14 – DEVOTIONAL

Transformational Grace

📖 “And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed…’ And God granted him what he requested.” — 1 Chronicles 4:9–10

Jabez’s story reminds us that, the grace of God is made available to all men, but grace must be received, believed, and often prayed into manifestation. Because prayer changes people and situations in line with the will of God. A gift not received, applied, or activated remains inaccessible and unused.

Jabez understood this truth. Though his life began under the shadow of pain and sorrow caused by circumstances beyond his control, he refused to allow his beginning to determine his destiny. Like many Christians today, he innocently suffered from situations he did not create, yet he arose through revelation and prayer to change the course of his life.

Beloved, grace does not mean doing nothing. Grace empowers us to arise in faith and exercise the authority given to us through Jesus Christ. 📖 Luke 10:19 reminds us that we have authority over the power of the enemy. Satan delights in continuing cycles of pain, bondage, limitation, and affliction from generation to generation until someone with revelation of the transforming power of grace rises up and says, “Enough is enough!” through prayer, faith, and the proclamation of God’s Word.

Just as Jabez cried out to God, we too must boldly pray, resist the enemy, and align ourselves with God’s promises concerning our lives and families. Grace gives us access, but prayer and faith position us for manifestation.

Have a graceful day☀️
May you and your family be encouraged to arise in faith, pray with authority, break every limitation, and walk boldly into the blessings, enlargement, protection, and divine destiny God has prepared for you in Jesus’ name.Shalom!🙏🙌🏾
