📖 2 Kings 3:1–4:17 — God’s Provision and Power in Times of Need
When the kings of Israel, Judah, and Edom face a severe water shortage, God miraculously provides water and grants them victory over their enemies through the word of Elisha. In chapter 4, God multiplies a widow’s small supply of oil to pay her debts and blesses a faithful Shunammite woman with the son she had long desired.
Key Theme: God is able to provide abundantly, meet impossible needs, and bring blessings where there once was lack.

📖 Acts 14:8–28 — Courageously Advancing the Gospel
Paul heals a man who had been crippled from birth, leading the people of Lystra to mistakenly worship Paul and Barnabas as gods. Despite opposition, persecution, and even being stoned, Paul remains steadfast in preaching the Gospel. He encourages new believers to continue in the faith, reminding them that trials are part of the Christian journey.

📖 Psalm 140:1–13 — Trusting God for Protection and Justice

A cheerful heart is described as good medicine, while a discouraged spirit weakens and drains a person’s strength. God highlights the powerful connection between our spiritual outlook and our overall well-being.

Today’s readings remind us that God is both powerful and compassionate. He provides for our needs, strengthens us through trials, protects us from harm, and fills us with joy. No situation is too difficult for Him to handle. As we trust Him wholeheartedly, He can turn scarcity into abundance, opposition into opportunity, and discouragement into strength. May we walk through this day with unwavering faith, confident that the God who provided for the widow, strengthened Paul, and defended David is still working on our behalf today. Amen! 🙏🏾
