Journey of Faith, Goodness & Mercy
📖 Luke 18:37–42
This passage reveals a blind man who refused to allow his condition, the crowd, or resistance to silence his cry for mercy. Though others tried to stop him, he cried out even more earnestly, believing that Jesus was both willing and able to help him. His persistent faith captured the attention of Jesus, and his encounter with Christ resulted in the manifestation of God’s goodness and mercy through the restoration of his sight.
Beloved, we too may face resistance, delays, setbacks, stagnation, disappointments, and voices that suggest we should give up on our journey of faith,
However, these challenges are not meant to become our final reality. They are only temporary obstacles on the path to God’s greater purpose.
Just as Jesus stopped for the blind man, He still responds to sincere cries of faith today. What looks like a delay is not a denial, and what feels like resistance is not the end of the story. God’s goodness and mercy have the final say.
Have a faith-filled day, and may you and your family be encouraged to keep looking unto Jesus above every obstacle and challenge.
