The Power of Praise: His Glory & the Fullness of Joy
Psalm 16:5 says, “Lord, You alone are my portion and my cup; You make my lot secure.” And verse 11 declares, “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Today’s Scripture reveals that there is a divine mystery in praise—when we open our mouths and hearts to glorify God, something supernatural begins to shift.
It reminds us of a powerful truth: praise is more than a song—it shifts our perspective, strengthens our faith, and fills our hearts with hope.
Beloved, even in life’s most difficult moments, choosing to praise draws us into God’s presence. In His presence, fear gives way to peace, heaviness is replaced with joy, and hope rises again. As Psalm 22:3 reminds us, God inhabits the praises of His people, and where He is, there is fullness of joy.
Whatever you or your family may be facing today, choose praise. Lift your voice with gratitude, trust that God is working, and allow His peace and joy to fill your heart.
Prayer:
Lord, today we choose to praise You—not because everything is perfect, but because You are worthy. Fill our hearts with Your peace, renew our strength, and let Your joy overflow in our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
