APRIL 19 – DEVOTIONAL

Gratitude for the Greatness of Our God

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours… In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.” — 1 Chronicles 29:11–12

This scripture reveals that God alone possesses all greatness, power, glory, and dominion, and everything in heaven and earth belongs to Him. It shows that promotion, strength, and purpose come from His hand, and He is the source of all we need to fulfill destiny.

Beloved, when we recognize His greatness with gratitude, we stop striving in our own strength and begin to walk confidently in His. The same God who reigns over all creation gives you strength and empowers you to walk in purpose—so rest in His greatness and trust His hand upon your life.

So today, take a moment to reflect: give thanks to the God who created the beauty of all creation that you admire, knowing that He is also working beauty through your life. Your purpose is not small—it is connected to His greatness. Praise God!

Have a grateful and spirit-filled Sunday, and may you and your family walk in His strength, His peace, and the fullness of His divine purpose.
