MARCH 7 – DEVOTIONAL

Divine Presence Makes Demons Tremble

Scripture: Mark 1:24–26

In this passage, a man possessed by an unclean spirit encountered Jesus in the synagogue. The demon immediately cried out in fear, saying, “I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.” Even before Jesus spoke, the darkness recognized His authority. With just a word, Jesus rebuked the spirit and it came out.

This powerful moment reminds us that the divine presence of Christ carries unquestionable authority. Demons tremble not because of human strength, but because of the holiness and power of God. When the presence of Jesus is near, darkness cannot remain. Fear, oppression, confusion, and every work of the enemy must bow.

Beloved, this is an encouragement for us today: when you carry the presence of God, you are not defenseless against spiritual battles. Through prayer, faith, and the Word, we invite His presence into our lives. Where His presence dwells, peace replaces fear, authority replaces weakness, and light overcomes darkness.

Walk today with the confidence that the same Jesus whose presence made demons tremble is with you. You do not have to strive in your own strength—simply remain close to Him.

Have a nice day, and may you and your family be encouraged to seek, carry, and dwell in the powerful presence of God, knowing that where His presence abides, darkness cannot stand. 🙏🏾🙌🏾✨
