BIBLE READINGS

In today’s Bible reading, here is what we will find:

Leviticus 14:1–57 – Restoration After Cleansing:
This chapter reveals God’s detailed instructions for the cleansing and restoration of those healed from leprosy. It was not enough to be healed physically; there had to be confirmation, sacrifice, and reintegration into the community.

This shows us that God is not only interested in healing us—but in fully restoring us. He brings us back into fellowship, identity, and purpose. What was once unclean is publicly declared clean.

Key Themes:
•God is a Restorer, not just a Healer
•Public restoration after private healing
•Obedience completes the process of cleansing

Mark 6:30–56 – Compassion, Provision & Power:
The apostles return and Jesus calls them to rest—yet the crowds follow. Out of compassion, He feeds the five thousand and later walks on water.

Here we see the heart of Jesus: He cares about spiritual hunger, physical needs, and fearful hearts. He multiplies what seems insufficient and reveals His divine authority over nature.

Key Themes:
•Jesus honors rest
•Compassion moves God to act
•What you place in His hands multiplies
•Faith grows when we recognize who He truly is

Psalm 40:1–10 – From the Pit to Praise:
David testifies of waiting patiently on the Lord—and being lifted out of the pit. God establishes his steps and puts a new song in his mouth.

Deliverance becomes a testimony. Gratitude becomes public proclamation. Obedience becomes greater than sacrifice.

Key Themes:
•Patient waiting produces powerful testimony
•God establishes those who trust Him
•A new song follows divine rescue
•Delight in obedience

Proverbs 10:11–12 – The Power of Words & Love:
The mouth of the righteous is described as a fountain of life. Love covers offenses, but hatred stirs up strife.

Our words reveal our hearts. Where love governs, peace flows.

Key Themes:
•Words carry life or destruction
•Love diffuses conflict
•Righteous speech reflects a righteous heart

Final Declaration
Today, I declare that the Lord is restoring every area of my life and completing what He has begun. I will walk in compassion, trust His provision, and testify of His deliverance. My mouth will speak life, and His love will govern my heart.

The God who lifts from the pit, multiplies the little, and restores the broken is working in me and through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾✨🔥
