FEBRUARY 22 – DEVOTIONAL
BIBLE READINGS
In today’s Bible reading, here is what we will find:
In Leviticus 13:1–59, we see the seriousness of holiness and the importance of spiritual examination. God gave detailed instructions for identifying and addressing leprosy, reminding us that nothing unclean should be ignored. The Lord cares about our spiritual health and desires cleansing and restoration.
In Mark 6:1–29, Jesus faces rejection in His hometown because of unbelief, yet He continues in power and sends out His disciples with authority. We also witness the martyrdom of John the Baptist — a sobering reminder that standing for truth requires boldness and unwavering conviction.
In Psalm 39:1–13, David reflects on the brevity of life and recognizes that our hope must be anchored in God, not in temporary pursuits. Life is fragile, but our confidence in the Lord gives it eternal meaning.
In Proverbs 10:10, we are reminded that integrity and wise speech matter. Deception leads to trouble, but righteousness and honesty preserve peace.
Prayer Declaration:
Father, search me and cleanse me. Remove every trace of unbelief and strengthen me to stand boldly for truth. Teach me to number my days wisely, anchor my hope in You, and walk in integrity in both heart and speech. I declare that I live holy, purposeful, and courageous for Your glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen. 🙏🏾✨
💟🌿 Love in Action
“O give thanks unto Jehovah; for He is good; for His lovingkindness endureth for ever.” – Psalm 107:1
On this last Sunday of this beautiful month of love, we pause with grateful hearts. If you are still breathing, you already qualify to praise Him (Psalm 150:6)! Through every high and low, God has shown His steadfast love to you and your family — faithful, unchanging, and full of mercy.
The cross stands as our eternal reminder that His love is unconditional and immeasurable. Even in our imperfections, His grace surrounds us, strengthens us, and carries us. What a faithful Father we serve!
As we close this month, let gratitude overflow. And according to Psalm 107:8–9, let us share of His goodness and unfailing love — testifying how His unconditional love satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry with good things — so others may be encouraged and drawn to Him.
