APRIL 8 – DEVOTIONAL

Empowered by the Resurrection: Rising into Destiny

Romans 8:11 reveals that the very Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us—and that same Spirit quickens, energizes, and empowers our mortal bodies to rise beyond limitation and walk boldly into divine purpose.

Throughout Scripture, we see ordinary people transformed into vessels of supernatural impact by this same Spirit. Moses, once hesitant and unsure, was empowered to confront Pharaoh and lead a nation to freedom. David, a shepherd boy, rose in courage to defeat giants and fulfill his royal destiny. Esther, an orphaned girl, was positioned and empowered to deliver her people at a critical moment. And Peter, once fearful, became bold and unwavering, impacting multitudes through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, the same Spirit that empowered them is at work in you today. As we reflect on their stories this month, may there be a fresh quickening within you—a divine stirring that awakens courage, renews strength, and ignites boldness to walk fully in your God-given assignment. You are not ordinary; you are empowered by the resurrection life of Christ to produce extraordinary results for His glory.

Have a spirit-filled day, and may the power of the resurrected Christ continually quicken you, strengthen you, and propel you and your family into the fullness of your destiny. Shalom
