📖 Genesis 17:15–16 –
“I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.”
# Happy Mother’s Day!🎊🎈🌹
Today we pause to celebrate all women — mothers, just as God calls them.
From the beginning, God saw greatness in Sarah when the world only saw barrenness. Before she became a biological mother, God already called her a mother of nations and declared that kings would come from her. What society saw as limitation, God saw as divine potential.
Beloved woman, whether with or without biological children, every woman born of God carries the grace and potential to nurture lives, influence generations, and become a mother to many through faith, wisdom, love, service, and purpose.
From Genesis throughout Scripture, many women with or without biological children changed history through faith, courage, and devotion. And you are part of that motherhood legacy.
Today, we celebrate and honor every biological mother, spiritual mother, grandmother, mentor, caregiver, and every woman whose life has carried hope, healing, and strength to others. You are precious in the sight of God and deeply appreciated.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let us arise and call them blessed while we still have them today. Though no mother is perfect, we thank God for their gracious sacrifices, prayers, and little acts of love that continue to shape generations.
We also remember everyone carrying emotional pain today through the loss of a mother or a child. May God comfort and strengthen every grieving heart.
Have a joyful and blessed Mother’s Day, and may you and your family continue to be thankful for the gift of motherhood as you honor and celebrate their impact on generations. May God’s grace continue to abound in you and through you to fulfill your divine assignment.
Shalom!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾
📖 1 Samuel 8:1–9:27
The people of Israel demanded a king so they could be like other nations, even though God Himself was their King. Samuel warned them about the consequences of rejecting God’s leadership, yet they insisted on having their own way. God then directed Samuel to Saul, a man who appeared impressive outwardly, and began preparing him for leadership.
✨ Here we see that outward appearance may attract people, but true direction and lasting success come from God. We must be careful not to exchange God’s perfect will just to fit in with the world around us.
⸻
📖 John 6:22–42
After the miracle of feeding the five thousand, many followed Jesus because of the physical bread He provided. But Jesus revealed that He is the true Bread of Life sent from heaven, the One who satisfies the deepest hunger of the soul. While some believed, others struggled to accept Him because they focused only on natural understanding.
✨ Temporary things may satisfy for a moment, but only Jesus can truly fill the emptiness of the human heart. When we seek Him sincerely, we find life, hope, and eternal satisfaction.
⸻
📖 Psalm 106:32–48
This Psalm reflects on Israel’s repeated rebellion, disobedience, and forgetfulness despite God’s mercy and deliverance. Yet even in judgment, God remembered His covenant and showed compassion when they cried out to Him.
✨ God’s mercy is greater than our failures. Though we may fall short many times, His grace still invites us back into restoration when we repent and call upon Him.
⸻
📖 Proverbs 14:34–35
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin brings disgrace. Wise and faithful service brings favor, while dishonor leads to shame.
✨ God honors righteousness, integrity, humility, and wisdom both in individuals and nations. Our choices matter, and living according to God’s ways brings honor and blessing.
🌸 Final Reflection:
Today’s readings remind us not to replace God’s guidance with worldly desires, but to trust Him fully as our true source, leader, and sustainer. Though humanity often fails, God remains merciful, faithful, and ready to restore those who seek Him wholeheartedly.🙏🏾
